A good café in Fonyód does not necessarily mean the same thing at 8: 00 a.m. and before sunset. In the morning, you may need regular coffee, breakfast and fast service; in the afternoon it would be more like cake, ice cream or a terrace; in the winter it is also a serious value if it is warm, the door is open and they do not look strange because you want to talk for an hour.
The coffee offer of Fonyód is not the same. There is a lovable, classic café, Italian-roots preschool, strong local meeting place, panoramic terrace and real special setup with La Marzocco machine, Casino Mocca coffee and properly prepared filter. We do not expect the same from all of them: one twisted ice cream includes other aspects than a V60, and one of the most beautiful sunsets in Balaton sometimes forgives a less revolutionary cake.
