Sleep peacefully, then open your eyes to a view of Badacsony. No exaggeration — that really is the view.

⛰ The panorama

The lake and Badacsony lie directly opposite — the view that people from Fonyód picture when they think of home. There is nowhere quite like it.

🌿 Private terrace · with outdoor dining area

Enjoy the terrace from morning to evening, with time for a glass of wine and a good conversation.

🍳 Separate kitchen

A small separate kitchenette in the entrance hall, with a fridge, hob, microwave and basic equipment for a couple's breakfasts and dinners.

☕ Nespresso + tea

Nespresso for a quick awakening. Tea always has - it's mandatory for all apartments.

🚿 Shower room

Shower + toilet at the same time - near the entrance to make the view the main experience of the living space.

❄️ Air conditioning

Air-conditioned, so it stays cool even on August afternoons.

📺 TV + wifi

TV and fast Wi-Fi - but let's face it, you're not coming here for the screen.

Pictures and motifs give the interior character while leaving the view centre stage.

🎲 Shared corridor: books, games and iron

Board games, books in several languages, an iron and a vacuum cleaner are available for shared use in the corridor. There is no washing machine, either in the apartment or shared.

💑 For couples

For a long weekend, a quiet week or a celebration. It is not the best size for children — Evangelista is the better option for that.

🚗 Parking

Free parking in the shade in the Sipos Hill park woodland or on the street outside the house.

The apartment’s story

This is my kind of apartment.

Patriot is Tomi's apartment — the one that won me over while it was still being built. The first time I stepped onto its terrace and saw the view, I knew: this house captures exactly why I love Fonyód.

We stand at the top of one of Fonyód's two hills, with an exceptional view of Badacsony and Lake Balaton. For locals, this is the view that comes to mind when they think of home. And yes, we really do miss it when we are away.

The understated furnishings let the view take centre stage, with pictures and motifs inspired by Hungary and Fonyód. Come for the panorama, return for the atmosphere. A place for couples, whether for a quiet week, a long weekend or a celebration.

A good choice if

For two travellers looking for their own apartment and an outdoor space to relax by Lake Balaton.

Consider this.

If you want a flat, short shore walk every day to the accommodation: consider your hillside position.

Beds and sofa bed: 1 double bed (160 × 200)
Stairs / access: Please check the exact stairs and access arrangements with us. A ground-floor location does not in itself mean the apartment is accessible without steps.
Parking: Sipos-mountain park + street

Hilltop is on Sipos Hill, so the walk back from the lake is uphill. Please bear this in mind if you have a pushchair, heavy luggage or limited mobility.
