One of the biggest benefits of Perfetto Ice cream is not having to organise a special expedition for it. Located in the centre of Fonyód, just below 5 Ady Endre Street, right next to the Dísz Square. If you guys want an ice cream after a market trip, lunch or a walk downtown, there's a good chance you're walking away from it anyway.
The central position in itself, of course, would not be enough for a recommendation. However, Perfetto is not only a convenient, but also a very correct ice cream shop. They provide cream-faced, decent-sized dumplings, the service is friendly and the classic and new-wave flavors are well suited. They also find something that makes them feel safe on the chocolate vanilla punch line, but those who like more exciting pairings don't stay on their toes.
The supply changes regularly. They've had salty pistachios, cherry-poppy, chocolate chocolate mango and Belgian biscuits. These are not just dumplings with spectacular names, which have the same taste: their better combinations really work. The salt pistachio is both saturated and slightly salty, and the cherry and poppy are surprisingly natural in pairs. It's worth tasting, asking questions, and not necessarily automatically choosing the same thing you choose in any other ice cream shop.
Besides ice cream, they offer iced coffee, lemonade and sometimes more playful desserts. Many of the returning guests specifically highlight their iced coffee with vanilla chips and whipped cream. It can therefore be a good stop even if not everyone in the company wants dumplings.
You may find a more characteristic ice cream in Fonyód. Maybe a few forints cheaper somewhere. If you were looking specifically for a decades-old local legend, we would continue to choose Nostalgia Ice cream. Perfetto doesn't even want to look like a historical institution. A modern, easy-to-love, well-functioning ice cream shop that reliably brings what you promise - and sometimes with a new taste I'm even pleasantly surprised.
Especially when you're at the center, and you don't want to get in a car or take a detour for ice cream. Walk over there, look through that day's offer, give me a chance to taste more unusual, and then take it with you for the funnel at the Awards Square. Simple, conceited and good program.
Perfetto is not necessarily the only mandatory ice cream shop in Fonyód. But it's a decent place, which is definitely worth giving you a chance - they could easily go back.
