The Gastro-Police isn't having a dinner party, they're giving the city lunch. This is one of Fonyód's favorite restaurants, where locals, workers and holiday homes bring home the daily menu. The menu is not a eulogy, but soup, main course, normal dosage and reasonable price.
The weekly offer will be published regularly on Facebook, so you can decide which day is yours before leaving. You can eat locally and take it, but popular dishes may run out; if you want a specific menu, don't arrive in the last ten minutes before closing. It's also worth asking for or ordering on the phone.
The current opening hours are between 11: 00 and 15: 00 Monday to Saturday, closed on Sunday, but there may be a difference on holiday and season. It's not a tourist attraction, and that's why it's an important place: you can have lunch here the way the town eats on weekdays. If you want warm food at a good price, write it down.
