Our opinion

Q17 is for those who don't necessarily have a holiday that means that they will be completely out of training for a week. The Bartók Béla street room is a more seriously equipped fitness centre on the southern coast, and this is indeed the most obvious choice in Fonyód if you want to do some outside work but decent, predictable training.

Modern machine and free serious environment can be used for beginners, regular athletes and desperately trying to save their summer form. You don't have to pretend it's 30 minutes of cardio after the Lake Balaton flame is a moral obligation, but it's good to know where to go. At the wrong time, it will be particularly appreciated: while raining horizontally on the shore, at least here you know exactly what kind of pressure you get.

If you are first in the room, tell the front desk that you are an occasional guest and ask if you need to log in for one of these services. Opening hours, prices, coaching presence and group options may change; the official website or a short phone is the Commissioner. My own towels, clean change shoes and normal gym behavior are of course also basic equipment here.

Q17 is not a tourist attraction, and that's exactly what makes it a good tip. A truly functioning urban service that can be interpreted in winter, rain and the most crowded day of the Lake Balaton season. If you spend more time in Fonyód, ask about the multi-suitable constructions; if you go only once, it will be easier to have breakfast after a workout. Scientitically, we can't prove that, but there's a strong correlation in experience.
