Bath, museum, long lunch or a shortcut? Choose a program that matches the company and the weather.

Rain doesn't necessarily ruin the day of Balaton, but it's worth planning differently. You don't have to save a program designed for a beach: choose a truly usable covered target, a comfortable lunch place and give us time to travel.
In Fonyód, the locally staying version is usually a shorter coffee-lunch day. A multi-hour spa or museum program, together with the surrounding area, is worth thinking about: Marcali, Zistapusta, Kaposvár and Keszthely offer different opportunities. But it doesn't matter if you just want to wait for a shower, or if you're looking for a plan for a whole day of windy rain.
In the above selection, there are also own daily plans in addition to the sites. These are not advertised events or packages that can be purchased. The time frame indicated on the cards gives an indication of time for the program, but does not include travel.
A coffee shop, a lunch place or a shorter indoor stop may be enough not to dictate the whole day. It's not necessarily worth a long drive. Look at the recent forecast, then select a stop to make it easy to transform the sequel.
Do not tie the walk directly to a shower that ends at an uncertain time. Stay in manoeuvre: if the time improves, you can take a short party detour; if not, it may be longer for lunch. With wet shoes and a cold, the same program is much less pleasant.
I'd count on one main target. Bath or museum, meals next to it, and then back to your quarters. Parking, changing and walking between three different locations easily takes more from the sun than variety adds.
The partially covered place is not necessarily a good shelter for a stormy day. The small railway stop, the outdoor pool and the longer shore walk should not be an automatic plan B. Adjust the journey to the current situation, and don't start because you already decided yesterday.
Do not automatically arrive at the museum on Sunday: it is scheduled to end in the general opening of the museum. Always plan for the specific date.
The experience bath and the school are different types of programs. Make sure you know which one you want, and whether it's right for your kids' age and knowledge of swimming.
Pick an open, indoor coffee shop and then a lunch place. Check the current Programme calendar: if you have an interesting indoor event, it could be the second half of the day. If you don't, you don't have to force it. A board player, reading afternoon at the hostel may also be knowingly chosen rest.

The inscription "bath" itself does not tell you what experience you can expect on a rainy day. A different requirement is provided for the indoor school, the experience bath and the indoor seat pool. First decide whether to swim, spend time with children, or find a calmer bath.
Kaposvár The indoor spa of the flower bath is also possible for families seeking a water program. The opening of departments may differ, so instead of the general name of institutions, you should look for the right department. Official opening hours
Marcali the operator shall raise a full year-round covered school. This may be a good way to swim, but do not automatically project the services of the summer beach on the rainy day. Ask him to use the course, especially if you're going for a clear swim. Marcali Bathrooms Information
Czech Republic an indoor pool is also included in the official offer, while more than one pool indicates seasonal operation. The Lake Balaton Museum in Escheshol gives a different view to the history and world of the lake. You can also choose consciously when visiting Festeticske Castle. The interior of the castle and the historic model railway exhibition are different experiences; it is not necessary to compress all exhibitions into one afternoon. Check the validity of the ticket and that day's visitation before buying. The park and exhibition buildings should be treated separately: even if an area can be visited freely or with a dog, there may still be other rules for the interior.
The most important question with a dog is not whether a place usually calls itself a dog friend, but whether it will be allowed into the inner guest area on that day. The rules for a summer terrace don't tell you that for sure.
The good order: first a phone or message confirmation from the place, then a road map. Also ask if there is a condition for size, number or placement. Do not treat bath and museum as an automatic dog option, and do not confuse the rules for dogs with pet animals.
If you do not find a suitable indoor space, consider shorter weather-adjusted walks and more accommodation time. Don't leave the dog in the car until the family is on a multi-hour program. You should also adjust leaving the apartment alone to the conditions agreed with your host.
In the rain, don't just look at the journey between the two settlements. Walking from the accommodation to the station, then from the destination to the destination is part of the sun. No good railway connection means the museum or bath is right next to the station.
Search Kaposvár for connections from Fonyód in the current route planner of MÁV and check out the target's approach separately. In the case of a trip to Keszthely or Balatonföld, you should also leave from your daily journey back and forth. Track lock, replacement bus or connection waiting may change the previously established plan.
It is particularly important for the small railway to have a return. A covered train path can be cozy during the day of an eye balcony; along with long outdoor waiting, the scales are different. If there is a lot of uncertainty that day, the Fonyód coffee-lunch version can be simpler and more comfortable.

The rain plan is good if it means less uncertainty in practice. It's not going to be useful to have a list of locations in it as much as possible.
There is no need to count on unlimited, permanent indoor attraction. In addition to the local coffee and lunch plan, look at the current indoor events of the program calendar. Choose between target areas for a bathing or larger museum day.
