The Devotees is one of Hungary's known Depeche Mode tribute bands. Their goal is not to use a few synthesizer hits: the band also tries to summon details of original sound, atmosphere and stage world. This helps with the character baritone singing voice, which is especially good for Dave Gahan's songs.
During the evening, the world of several ages of Depeche Mode meets. There will be darker, pulsing electronic pieces, hymn refrens and numbers where the hands will rise after the first few sounds. The world of Everything Counts, Rush or Never Let Me Down Again works especially well in the open - even if someone originally walked there by accident.
And then come to the local fun fact. In our memories, no Depeche Mode tribute band has ever performed in Fonyód. Since Horváth Norbert, whose Depeche Mode enthusiasm is hardly a secret, has become a municipal representative, this is the third consecutive summer with such a concert. We're not saying there's a connection between the two things. All we're saying is that if it's a coincidence, it's a very pleasant coincidence.
From 18 o'clock before the concert, the Lányi Antal flight day is scheduled to take place, so this evening both the sky and the stage have a lot of visitors. Black T-shirt is not mandatory, but it's probably going to be a lot.
