A concert where songs become a common cause
Carpathia is not background music. It's not the band that goes unnoticed behind the night at Balaton. When János Petras and his companions enter the stage, in a few minutes the audience will become a singing community together.
The band formed in 2003 is one of the most famous and most popular representatives of Hungarian national rock. In their music, the hard rock, spotted motifs, the world of soldiers and march, as well as the easy-to-remember, anthem refrens meet.
Their songs focus on Hungarian history, national cohesion, the preservation of overseas Hungarian communities, motherland and heritage. The Carpathia is a strong world-minded band that does not want to meet everyone - it is precisely from this balance that its special relationship with his fan camp arises.
The deep, immediately recognizable voice and bass guitar game of the front man, János Petás, has been defining the character of the band for more than 20 years. The power of the guitars is supplemented by keys, folk musical instruments and melodramatic vocals, so that the concerts are both the weight of rock music and the elevation of songs that can be sung together.

On the evening of August 9, this special atmosphere moves to Lake Balaton. After the sun goes down, the stage lights will light up, the guitars will ring, and thousands of people will sing the same chorus in Fonyód.
